I recently finished making a messenger bag out of duct tape! I took it for a test run and it didn't hold out very well. It was flimsy because there was no rigid backing, kinda floppy like once you start putting things inside it. Still, I'm very proud of it and I've now run out of grey tape... lol It has a distinctive checkerboard pattern that looks really cool. Here's a picture and here's the tutorial link that I followed to make it!

Duct Tape Credit Card Holder
I admit I have forgotten about this blog but since I'm posting several years later, it must mean it's surfaced on my mind once again! Assuredly, I have been using my creations, notably the really awesome purple and blue simple wallet pictured in the Duct Tape Fabric post.
I made 2 card holders simply because the simple wallet does not have the cavities to hold cards. I do not have a tutorial for the card holder- really it was just me spontaneously building one out of necessity but today, I have a tutorial for the 2 cavity credit card holder.
Gather your 3 colors of tape. I used purple, turquoise and clear.
Make duct tape fabric with purple as the base color. I used 6 strips.
Make 2 smaller rectangles of the fabric for the card slots.
Tape them on.
Add the turquoise color accents to the back, which when the card holder is folded in half, will become the fronts
Add the clear accent to the sides, and stack this folded in half under a stack of heavy books for a few hours to a few days, depending on when you remember to fish it out again.
Et voila!
My purple and blue collection!
